As a Marketing Analyst, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering marketing insights to improve business performance. We are looking for marketing analysts who are passionate about marketing, have an innate curiosity about our user, and are eager to dive into large, complex datasets and ultimately create actionable business insights.

In this role, you will dive into large, complex datasets, distill your analyses into actionable insights, present insights using dashboards and reports, and influence key stakeholders. You are a strategic and analytical thinker and an excellent communicator. You will also closely collaborate with cross-functional teams across marketing, sales, product, engineering and others.

Our marketing analysts work directly in marketing teams across a variety of different product areas and teams. By applying to this role, you will be considered for roles for various marketing teams, supporting key products including (but not limited to) YouTube, Android, Adwords, and hardware.

Responsibilities

    • Analyze user behavior, marketing campaigns, and product usage to identify opportunities for product marketing teams.
    • Execute sophisticated quantitative analyses and modeling.
    • Translate data into actionable insights and business opportunities.
    • Synthesize and present quantitative results to an executive audience of marketing, sales, product and/or engineering colleagues.

Qualifications

    • BA/BS degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
    • 4 years of quantitative work experience in marketing analytics, quantitative finance, risk modeling, or similar.
    • Experience in SQL and one language for statistical programming (e.g. R, SAS, Python).
